Can you repair a cracked iPhone screen if the picture still works?

Can I charge an iPhone while it shows a liquid-detection alert?

Disconnect the charging cable and let the connector dry with airflow. Do not put objects into the port, apply heat or put the phone in rice. A repeated alert with a dry connector or evidence of liquid damage needs assessment.
