Warranty Coverage
Please review the terms and conditions of Techhelp’s warranty coverage for goods purchased and repair services provided.
Important Notice
Due to data privacy regulations, legal ownership requirements and obligations under GDPR, Techhelp can no longer liaise directly with manufacturers on behalf of customers regarding warranty claims. However, we are happy to assist by providing relevant information and guidance needed to support a customer’s claim.
Goods Purchased In-Store or Online
- All new products sold in-store or online are covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranty.
- As a retailer, Techhelp does not provide additional warranty coverage beyond that offered by the manufacturer.
- All computer, phone and tablet accessories are covered by a 3-month warranty.
- All used and refurbished products include a minimum 3-month Techhelp warranty, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Repair Service Warranty
Warranty coverage applies strictly to manufacturer defects in parts supplied and installed by Techhelp.
Genuine / Original Parts
- Screens installed by Techhelp: 12-month warranty
- Batteries installed by Techhelp: 6-month warranty
Generic / Replacement-Grade Parts
- Screens, batteries and other replacement parts: 3-month warranty
Software Repairs
- Covered by a 30-day warranty
Hardware Repairs
- Covered by a 3-month warranty
Exclusions – Not Covered Under Warranty
The following are not covered under any warranty, regardless of time or cause:
- Human error
- Normal wear and tear, for example DC ports and batteries
- Accidental or physical damage, including drops, cracks, scratches or screen damage
- Structural damage, including bending or warping of the device
- Liquid or water damage, including spills or moisture exposure
- Tampering, unauthorised repairs or third-party modifications
Terms & Conditions
- Warranty claims must relate only to defects covered under the applicable warranty period.
- Proof of purchase or repair documentation may be required to validate any claim.
- Warranty coverage is limited to the specific product sold or part installed by Techhelp.
- Warranty does not extend to unrelated faults, misuse, accidental damage or issues arising after third-party intervention.
- Any warranty provided does not affect the customer’s statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
