- Turn on two-step verification in WhatsApp settings.
- Never share your six-digit WhatsApp verification code.
- Open WhatsApp linked devices and remove anything you do not recognise.
- Be suspicious of urgent money requests, even from known contacts.
- Use phone calls to confirm unusual requests before sending money or codes.
