Scam-call warning signs
- You are pressured to act immediately.
- You are asked for one-time codes, PINs or passwords.
- You are asked to install remote access apps.
- You are told to move money to a safe account.
- The caller refuses to let you call back through an official number.
Safer response
Hang up, wait a few minutes, and call the official number from the bank/provider website or card. Do not use numbers given by the caller.
