Official scam advice Last reviewed: 2026-08-28

Fake delivery texts are common because people often expect parcels. They may ask for a small customs or redelivery fee, card details, verification codes or app installation.

  • Check tracking directly on the courier official website.
  • Do not use links from unexpected text messages.
  • Look for pressure, odd payment requests and spelling mistakes.
  • Do not share one-time banking or account codes.
  • Contact your bank if card details were entered.
If you entered bank details: contact your bank immediately. TECHHELP can check your device, but the bank handles account and payment protection.
