How to back up your Android phone

Android backup protects contacts, photos, app data and settings depending on your Google account settings.

Google backup checklist

  • Connect to Wi‑Fi and charge the phone.
  • Open Settings and search for Backup.
  • Turn on Google/Google One backup where available.
  • Use Google Photos backup for photos and videos.
  • Check WhatsApp backup separately if needed.

Before repair

If the phone is still working, back up before repair. If it is not powering on, ask TECHHELP before trying resets or software restore options.
