Scam-call warning signs

  • You are pressured to act immediately.
  • You are asked for one-time codes, PINs or passwords.
  • You are asked to install remote access apps.
  • You are told to move money to a safe account.
  • The caller refuses to let you call back through an official number.

Safer response

Hang up, wait a few minutes, and call the official number from the bank/provider website or card. Do not use numbers given by the caller.
